Persimmon Brandy

 

Every November, Hachiya Persimmons explode onto the Santa Monica Farmers Market. This sweet and custard-like fruit, with flavors of brown sugar, cinnamon, mango and apricot, makes a wonderful contribution to my seasonal cocktails. The challenge is that the season is only three weeks long. So, looking for a way to share their magic year round, I have teamed up with Murray Family Farms and The Spirit Guild to create this very special brandy, the first made entirely from organic Hachiya Persimmons.

Bold and distinctive bourbon. Matthew chooses to use this quality product in some of his eat your drink creations. He was a small partner from 2021-2023 until they sold to Coors in August of 2023.
